Getting married at the Fletcher Nautical Quarter in Huizen
On a radiant summer day in June, Linda and Richard exchanged vows, surrounded by friends, family, and a warm glow of love. The couple from Woerden had planned their wedding day down to the last detail—and the result was truly impressive: a day filled with light, heartfelt emotions, and unforgettable moments.
The day began in the green heart of the Netherlands, where Linda & Richard, in their familiar surroundings, prepared for their big adventure. From early morning, an expectant hush hung in the house—excited whispers, the whir of a hairdryer, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. A slight tension in the air, but above all, a great deal of happiness.
The first destination was Speelpark Oud Valkeveen, an unexpected yet enchanting location for the photoshoot. Amidst mature trees, charming playground equipment, and a beautiful open field, Linda & Richard found exactly the relaxed atmosphere they were looking for. The gentle breeze, the laughter of children in the distance, and the sun perfectly filtering through the trees—it all gave the photo and video shoot a fairytale feel. Here, first glances were shared, caresses captured, and spontaneity cherished.
After this intimate shoot, the group headed to the Gooi waterfront: the Fletcher Hotel Nautisch Kwartier in Huizen. This unique waterfront wedding venue provided the backdrop for the ceremony and reception. Overlooking the glistening Gooimeer lake, Linda & Richard exchanged their vows—personal, sincere, and straight from the heart. There was laughter, a tear, and hearty applause.
The rest of the day flowed effortlessly into a festive dinner and a vibrant party, with music, dancing, and a beautiful sunset as a backdrop. The warm rays of light on the water reflected the love palpable between them and their guests.
Linda & Richard opted for simplicity with style, a touch of quirkiness but always sincere—and that made their wedding unique. A day where Woerden's down-to-earth nature blended with the grandeur of the Gooi region. And above all: a day that perfectly reflected who they are together.
A day to never forget.
