The Wedding Video
A wedding video is a wonderful way to capture the magical moments of a wedding day and cherish them forever. It's more than just a record of the day; it's a visual story that reflects the emotions, the atmosphere, the joy, and the unique spirit of the wedding. This video can encompass the entire event, from the preparations and ceremony to the celebrations and the last dance. The result is a personal and emotional memory that the couple can look back on again and again.
Wedding Videography - My Working Method
1. First contact
Initially, you'll contact each other via email, messenger, phone, or any other medium. This brief contact can lead to discussions about availability and a brief introduction.
2. Introduction
We'll enjoy a cup of coffee and get to know each other, discuss your wedding in more detail, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. This meeting usually takes place in an easily accessible location or online via FaceTime or Skype.
3. Locations
During the introduction, we'll also discuss all the (wedding) locations, and if I'm not familiar with them yet, I'll take a detailed digital look at them and, in most cases, visit them.
4. Follow-up appointment
Because the first meeting sometimes takes place six months to two years before the wedding, we'll schedule another meeting a few weeks beforehand. This meeting is usually by phone, FaceTime, or Skype. We'll discuss the final details and go over the planning of your wedding.
5. The Big Day – The Wedding
I believe every wedding is and should be unique. After all, it's one of the most important events in your life. As a videographer, my job is to capture your story in its purest form, without too much direction, so it becomes a spontaneous, effortless, and pure video.
6. Editing
And then it really begins...the editing. The footage is sorted and edited. A nice structure in the video, matching music and sound, color grading, and any effects... This takes a few days.
7. Delivery
Depending on the wedding season, I aim to complete the wedding video within 3 to 5 weeks. You'll receive the video, which is usually about 5-10 minutes long (unless otherwise agreed), in 4K resolution for the best quality. Any corrections needed will, of course, be made.
